November 5 was election day. In Allegan County, voters had several candidates to choose from.
City of Allegan City Council Member
Stacie K. Gratz, Deb Laverence, and Rachel M. McKenzie will all serve four year terms.
Michael Alan Zeter will serve the two year term.
Jim Richardson will serve the two year term.
City of the Village of Douglas City Council
Greg Harvath, Martha Hoexter, and Gerald B. Schmidt will all serve two year terms.
City of Fennville City Commission
Danielle Brien, Thomas Pantelleria, and Jim Suerth will all serve four year terms.
City of Otsego City Council
Tom Gilmer and Ryan S. Wieber will both serve four year terms. While Kathleen Misner will serve a two year term.
City of Saugatuck City Council
Wendy Fisher, Bill Hess, and Jeff Spangler will all serve two year terms.
City of Wayland City Council
Jennifer Antel, Lisa Banas, and Rick Mathis will all serve two year terms.
There are some ballot issues, too.

The Douglas/ Saugatuck consolidation has failed according to the Holland Sentinel.

RENEWAL / ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZATION
This millage would renew the previously authorized .85 mill levy, which expires in 2013 and would authorize an additional millage of .15 mills, for the operation of the Holland Community Aquatic Center.
Lee Township Millage
Renewal of Millage For Emergency Medical First Responder Services has passed (71 yes, 19 no).
The Zeeland schools operating millage renewal, assessing 18 mills on non-homestead property has passed (14 yes, 10 no).
The renewal of a sinking fund and assessment for 1 mill for another 10 years has also passed (14 yes, 10 no).
