It could be just after lunch Tuesday that the Kentwood police are able to take their  shooting suspect to court for arraignment, the formal reading of the charges.

The arrest came late Monday as Grand Rapids police helped the Kentwood detctives pick up the 18-year old suspect.

WOOD TV's Ken Kolker tells us the suspect may be just 18, but he aleady has a felony rap sheet that includes a 90-day sentence imposed this past March for a CCW violation and 60 days in jail for marijuana possession.

The homeowner at the scene of the shooting, on Farmview Court east of Stauffer in Kentwood Sunday night, had told WOOD it was a gang shooting when a large group tried to force its way into his daughter's graduation party.
