Debris from Broken Truck Flattens Vehicle Tires

Debris from a broken drive shaft on a garbage truck is being blamed for flattening tires on at least six vehicles on a western Michigan roadway.

WOOD-TV reports the debris forced authorities to shut down a portion of M-6 in Ottawa County's Jamestown Township for cleanup on Tuesday morning.

No injuries were reported.

The station reports the drive shaft broke as the garbage truck traveled west on the highway. Other drivers couldn't avoid the parts and debris.
