Ferris State Power Restored, Classes Resume Friday

Ferris State University says it's finished restoring power to buildings that lost electrical service, causing two days of cancelled classes at the Big Rapids campus.

School spokesman Sandy Gholston tells The Associated Press that crews finished the repairs Thursday night and turned the power back on at buildings that had been blacked out since Wednesday.

He says all scheduled classes will take place normally Friday.

Some classes have been cancelled, while others have changed location during the outage.
