GRPD Investigate Robbery on Southeast Side

In Grand Rapids, police are looking into a robbery that happened on the southeast side of town Saturday night.

According to WOOD-TV, the victim was a 53-year-old man, who had previous contact with the suspect on a peer to peer website for gun sales.

Both the victim and suspect agreed to meet at a complex on the 4000 block of Tangle Circle Drive to finish a purchase. That's when the suspect approached the seller and robbed him of the gun.

Police have not yet released the name of the suspect and say if you're involved in peer to peer sales, to make sure you know the seller, and conduct transactions in well-populated areas.
