GRPS Parents U Filling Up

More than 80 people have enrolled in Grand Rapids schools' Parent University.

Published reports indicate that the program was launched in September and the first class was earlier this month. It was a class on helping children make good decisions.

More than 200 free classes are being offered during the school year.

The program focuses on effective parenting, personal growth and development, navigating the educational system, and health and wellness. Parents in community meetings requested the program.
