Holland City Council Accepts Pay Raise

The Holland City Council voted to give itself the raise recommended by the city's Compensation Committee. 

The suggested pay inrease was 2.4 percent.

The Holland Sentinel explains that the actual vote was a majority-of-five who had decided against  accepting the extra money.

However, reportedly six  votes were needed to reject it.
