Jeep Hits Stroller in Byron Center Parking Lot

Two young kids were taken to the hospital after a stroller was hit by a car in Byron Township.

WOOD-TV reports a woman was walking on the sidewalk with her three young children in a stroller near the Walgreen’s parking lot on 68th Street and Division Avenue last night, when a Jeep Cherokee hit the stroller.

The children were not injured, but were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The Kent County Sheriff’s Department says the jeep was driven by a 20-year-old woman from Marne and police do not believe alcohol or speed were factors.
