Kentwood Police Make Arrest In Grad Party Shooting

Kentwood Police are still looking for tips, though they say an arrest has been made following a pool party shooting Sunday night.

The desk Lieutenant for the Grand Rapids Police told WOOD Radio they helped Kentwood officers make their arrest Monday around 5:30 p.m. Late Sunday night, a group of young men came to a pool party in the 4900 block of Farmview. Investigators said there are several people they hope come forward with information about the shooting. Five people were wounded as the suspect walked onto the pool deck area and opened fire.

Kentwood investigators will meet with the Kent County Prosecutor's office Tuesday to discuss formal charges.
