Man Pleads Guilty To Filling Gas Tank Without Paying

A man accused of stealing hundreds of gallons of gas from a local gas station has plead guilty to two counts of conducting a criminal enterprise.

Jamie Hardie was accused of stealing hundreds of gallons of gas from a local gas station. Hardie was in court on July 3 when he entered his guilty plea. He was set to go on trial in Kent County later this month.

According to WOOD TV, back in March, Hardie along with Rebecca Jo Ryan were caught after they stole almost 1,000 gallons of gasoline from the underground storage tanks of local gas stations.Hardie and Ryan parked a van over the top of various gas fill ports and then used a hand pump to fill 55 gallon drums with fuel.
