Pair of Top 10 ArtPrize Entries Moved out of Shuttered Ford Museum

ArtPrize organizers say the two Top 10 entries inside the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum have been moved to a tent outside the museum.

The federal government's partial shutdown has forced the museum to close for now.

Ann Loveless, whose "Sleeping Bear Dunes Lakeshore" had been inside, donated the tent, which she uses at arts and crafts shows.  "Sleeping Bear Dunes Lakeshore" and Anni Crouter's "Polar Expressed" are now under that tent.

There are two other Top 10 entries that have been located outside the museum, and they're unaffected by the shutdown.  Those pieces are Paul Baliker's "Dancing with Mother Nature" and "UPlifting" by Andy Sacksteder.
