Pro Basketball's Back in Grand Rapids, Cyclones Play Later This Month

Grand Rapids' entry in the Premier Basketball League hopes to show what they've got later this month, ahead of their first full season next year.

The Grand Rapids Cyclones will play the Lake Michigan Admirals February 25th at the DeltaPlex in Walker. WOOD TV said the tickets for this year's six game "branding season" will run $7 to $30. A twenty game schedule beginning January 2015 will involve the Cyclones and ten other PBL teams. They include the Flex of Bloomington, Illinois, the Chicago Tide, Indianapolis' Diesels, the Ohio Lima Express and the Lake Michigan Admirals in the MidWest Division. In the East, it's the Buffalo 716ers, Rochester, New York's RazorSharks, Carolina Pee Dee Vipers (based in Florence), the Erie Hurricane and the Lynchburg, Virginia Titans.

The Cyclones' roster boasts Wyoming and Jenison natives who played for Calvin and Hope, respectively.
