Snyder Visiting Tulip Time Festival in Holland

Gov. Rick Snyder is getting ready to march in the annual Tulip Time parade in the west Michigan city of Holland.

After speaking at the tulip festival's luncheon Wednesday, the governor is expected to put on a traditional Dutch costume and participate in the parade.

It's the third year in a row Snyder will visit the festival that celebrates Dutch heritage, draws hundreds of thousands of people and features millions of tulips.

Organizers say the eight-day festival brings in visitors from more than 45 states and 40 countries.
