Wyoming Man Arrested After Ottawa Co. Home Invasion; 3 Others Sought

Ottawa County deputies have arrested a 20-year-old Wyoming man, after a Georgetown Township home owner woke up early this morning to hear his moped being driven away.

He also discovered that someone had gone into several of his vehicles.

He investigated and found the moped nearby, as well as the suspect's vehicle, and reported that vehicle's license plate to authorities.

Investigators tracked the suspect vehicle to its registered address as the suspect was returning there.

Three people got out of the vehicle and fled, but the driver stayed with the vehicle and authorities arrested him and recovered stolen iPods, archery equipment, and a shotgun.

Anyone with information about the case and those other three suspects should contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office at 616-738-4000 or Silent Observer at 877-887-4536 or mosotips.com.
